Bainbridge Offers a Wide Assortment of Shopping Venues

Goody’s, Radio Shack, Belk and Athletic Attic are just a few of the businesses you’ll find. Of course, when the shopping your shopping day has ended you can always see your favorite contemporary movies playing at the Bainbridge Mall Cinema.
Some of the local shopping favorites include the The Avenues, Scott Street Plaza, Downtown Merchants, West Street Shopping Center and the Inland Port Center. Bainbridge is home to a quaint downtown, complete with a town square in addition to numerous shopping areas. When strolling along Main Street you will find antique shops, florists, jewelry stores, clothing shops, gift shops and much more. Travel east on Shotwell Street through "hamburger row", past CVS and the Winn Dixie Shopping Center, and soon you will come to the Bainbridge Mall. In addition to Belk and Goodies as anchor stores, out parcels include a multi-cinema, Golden Corral Steakhouse and (under construction) a Walgreen's Pharmacy. A half mile further and you reach Sears Shopping Center and Kmart Shopping Center.
If you travel west on Shotwell Street from downtown, you very quickly run into the Flint River. The City of Bainbridge leases this land from the Corps of Engineers and has two related recreation parks for enjoyment, Cheney Griffin Park and Earl May Boat Basin Park. In addition to boat launching facilities and a large amphitheater the City is just beginning a major renovation to the area.
